These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Derrett Family Plumbing Ltd. website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the terms below.

2. Service Engagement

  • Estimates and service agreements will be confirmed in writing or in-person before work begins.

  • Service times may vary due to unforeseen conditions or emergencies.

  • Clients must ensure safe and reasonable access to work areas.

3. Right to Refuse or Withdraw Services

Derrett Family Plumbing Ltd. reserves the right to:

  • Refuse or discontinue service if clients are disrespectful, hostile, or if conditions are unsafe

  • Immediately leave a worksite under such conditions

  • Bill for all work completed up to the point of departure, including a minimum call-out fee if applicable

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise stated in writing

  • We accept in-person payments of debit card, credit card, cheque, cash, and e-Transfer, or card processing through QuickBooks electronic invoices

  • Late payments may be subject to additional charges, late fees will be detailed on invoices and a payment reminder will be sent up to 24-hours before payment is subject to late fees

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Derrett Family Plumbing Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate provincial courts.
